Yeah and it’s sad how AI “art” is becoming more and more prevalent, with especially small businesses using it a lot. In most cases you can still tell whether something is AI though but I’ve seen some stuff recently that’s essentially indistinguishable from actual human art. It’s so sad. There’s a lot of opposition to AI art though so I think the demand for actual art created by humans will persist, at least for a few more generations, just like the arts and crafts movement did during the 19th century in response to the industrial revolution. Job loss is sadly inevitable though but essentially all white collar jobs will eventually disappear as well, and then all blue collar jobs once robotics catches up. So it’s not like job loss is a problem unique to artists. Well that is if we even make it that far which seems increasingly less likely.
