Just saw sliggy saying that he's gonna move to kick only stream for champs and that he's getting paid a bag for it. Fair enough for him but how does kick generate so much cash flow to afford to pay exclusive contracts like this?

even twitch loses money, kick just loses more
kick is owned by stake -> they pay for eyeballs on their site (mass amounts of clippers, exclusivity etc) -> they have a ton of gambling streams / pay streamers to gamble -> funnel viewers into stake -> profit
also doesn't hurt that they get to build a business with a decent valuation even if it's not profitable
yep their business model revolves around getting as much eyes as possible on gambling thru their streams. all kick streams get casinos/gamba recommendations thru the sidebar, they hope that non gamba viewers will get converted into gamblers
once all the sliggas (or whatever sliggys viewers are called) migrate to kick, theyre probably gonna open it once in a while, they just added some traffic to their site and reduced it from twitch's side. idk id say its worth it for both parties
Yeah take the bag and fuck your viewership im not going to kick just to watch mediocre analising
