How do the partner teams work now?
If mibr gets partner slot, does that mean they can keep the mixed roster of Brazil, NA and Latam and doesn't need to follow the minimum 3 players from a region rule?

Each team, partnered or not, will pick a region they will be competing in
The core of the team should be from the region, which means at least 3 players from their choosen region
For the sake of stability, the current 40 partnered teams have the option of keeping their current rosters, even if the core doesnt match their region
However this doesnt mean they are completely exempt from the rule , if they do more than 2 transfers they have to match their core to their region

But isn't this kinda fucked? Like I imagine teams like GE will just gatekeep the south asia slot because I don't think any south asian team can beat the GE team.
More like it will open opportunities tho the Indian players can learn from them too when good players play in the region
Plus there will be minimum one roster change for sure o suppose but idk
theyll be allowed to play with the current roster regardless of a slot or not, I suppose the complications will come in when they try to make roster changes
Each team picks a region first of all
For example GE picks South Asia that means they can if they want to and are able to continue with their present roster but let’s assume a. Player leaves but then the replacement of that player needs to be from South Asia only
Understood. Which countries are in the Rest of SEA region except Philippines?
I know Indonesia and Thailand get their own slot so it's like Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore right?
I think that'll be the ideal scenerio for GE to get slot in SEA because I don't think they wanted any Indian players anyways so atleast they'll get chance to pick up players from Philippines or Singapore if someone leaves.
I have no clue about that probably other smaller SEA nations like Cambodia and all Sorry I’m not much aware about that tbh

Likely they will move to South Asia with their current roster paying them the bag whosoever stays stays and who doesn’t probs will be need to be replaced by a South Asian player
Ideal scenario most likely might be current team fully in South Asia with maybe 1-2 Indian subs but then there are more things which might follow idk can’t predict future yet first we gotta see if they get partenered or not but even if they don’t they exempted from the rule by the virtue of being a partner earlier so that’s good
