Asuna/Tenz truth

Truth is both are really talented duelists and have god tier aim, but game sense is the other half. Tenz isnt as bad as Asuna but they both lack some game sense. They are both great players, but without better game sense only can stay around for so long. Plus they can only play duelists

On God its not even worth it. People are really out for Asunas head on a platter after 1 series where he didnt meet the INSANE expectations people hold him to.

jett mains only being able to play duelists is completely acceptable in this meta.

in the case of Asuna, the problem with his agent pool lies in the disparity between the skill level of his jett op and his raze. (The latter is way better)

I disagree about the game sense, too. Sure, they're not making mid-round calls or making reads, but their intuition plays an important role in many of their frags and is what elevates them beyond just incredible aimers.

For example, in clutches they often understand where the enemies are, which is visible in their crosshair placement.

The aim will always be able to justify the game sense against tier 2 international play, but when teams learn how to punish poor game sense, your duelist becomes half as effective. If sen/100t want to be successful, they have to either change their gameplay to work around the duelists, or force better game sense.

The problem is that this is just how they naturally play. Tenz and asuna wouldn’t be tenz and asuna if they didn’t push out of a smoke with no flash by themselves and lose a round or two.

Neither Asuna or TenZ are going anywhere for the time being. You will see them on teams 2-3+ years out from now.

In regards to Asuna on OP vs Raze (which is ultimately his rifle play) , you're basically looking at where he enjoys the game. It's not like his aim is bad on the OP but if you don't put in the reps, you're not going to see the results. https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/100T%20Asuna%231111/weapons?season=all ... OP to rifle ratio is 14x.

For TenZ, this conversation doesn't really need to even happen. He's fine. Optic (former Envy) are not the same style of team as the rest of Valorant. Each player brings something great to that team and you could spend paragraphs describing how FNS implements each talent he has at his disposal.

I feel like they fall into the trap of thinking they are better than everyone else so they make bold plays.

If asuna wasn't stuck playing jett and could be playing raze/reyna he wouldn't be in the conversation like this. its like wasted talent playing the dumbest duelist

I think asuna is good but jett isnt really his agent, i think he would fit better on reyna raze and maybe skye

No way u said Tenz has more game sense than Asuna, Tenz was literally braindead before joining Sen and learning a bit from Shahz

I think Asuna is alright with gamesense but terrible with pressure. as he matures hell only get better
