the comp struggled on haven due to Viper comps, but in premier no team will have a VCT level understanding of how to play a Viper comp properly. Yoru Iso should win if players are equal skill level. At the end of the day though if you get aim diffed agents don’t matter lol
Yoru Iso can work but there’s a few things you need to keep in mind
- Your Yoru always needs to have two gate crashes, as a a solo entry you cannot waste them on attack
- Teams may hit around 1:18 due to the fact that Yoru tp only lasts 20 seconds so they can gamble that they can hit the weak site without him being able to gatecrash over
- Don’t be afraid to use Iso shield to take space since you still have Yoru utility as well
- These two decently cover the site take, but the retake is not difficult once Iso’s shield runs out, with those two agents there won’t be much left to stall
- You are probably hoping you are playing into a Chamber comp, that would be your best chance to get maximum value out of the Iso shield
- Don’t miniboo.
Why play Yoru when Phoenix flashes better, has better utility overall and a great ult for entry.
Why play Iso when when Neon can entry better, dive site, use a wall for whole team to use and a ult that makes you move 200 km/h with 100% acurracy.
You won’t be able to contest A lobby and deep C as a defender with your comp, that’s pretty much the only limitation of the comp
true but playing that comp wouldn’t you want to prioritize rotations and retakes rather than trying to hold a site as Yoru Iso, playing more for get one get out than anything
Yes you would which is kind of the whole point of contesting deep space as a defender
I think iso is honestly heavily underrated rn on maps like lotus or haven
