Great empires but of past. But in today's world industrial revolution, modern science, engineering, modern finance, global trade are all working on principles set by germanic people. Which tribes have more civilization contributions? No one remembers you for ur territorial conquest. Also what language are we taking in?

if you're talking about principles that essentially set up the modern world, there were many scholars in the Middle East and Asia that already set up these basic fundamental ideas up such as, Al Haytham, Ibn Khaldun, Al Ghazali, Ibn Sina, Al Khwarezmi, Ulug Bek, Aryabhata, and Bhaskara II.
People very clearly remember the Mongol and Ottoman Empires, anyone who has studied enough history will also know the Seljuks.
