why are they picking phantom on breeze? I just feel like the sightlines are NOT close at all and the spam is so hard since the distance is so far and there's so many lanes of entry
like i use phantom on almost every map - the ONLY map i use vandal on is breeze (i literally use phantom on abyss too ffs)

that's what I thought but there's so many lanes of entry AND they're playing harbor whose reinforced smoke literally makes it impossible to spam
ig i'm just kinda confused since like if you peak an op and u hs, realistically you lose anyways cuz they can bodyshot u and ur dead but hs only did 140, plus the distance is just so far on breeze
but u cant spam EVERYTHING since there's so many lanes of entry on this map and so many places to spam like plus the distance is so far a little bit of difference in ur crosshair makes u whiff completely on spam
only reason to take vandal is guaranteed headshot kill, every other aspect = phantom, now do the math
Phantom on breeze has been a standard since 2022 DRX, every pro glazes the shit out of the phantom on lan
yes, ik, i play the phantom on eveyr map but 1 and that one is breeze though... there's so many angles (3 from backsite to site on a, even on b from mid and spawn there's wide angles, plus the whole mid section is just a massive gap) that are absolutely long as shit
i feel like you'd just want the guaranteed hs kill rather than the risk of phantom 140 because you're almsot never taking a close duel in breeze - the only close duels are in the little cubby onsite a, a main (and even then based on the defender position it's often not close enough), b backsite (again, depending on the hold, it could be not a onetap), and certain situations in elbow or doors (only close held angles though)
plus breeze is NOT the same today as it was in 2022 twin
Guaranteed hs kill? A map this big you really think your first bullet accuracy on the vandal is reliable? They don't use the phantom because it's good close range, they use it because it's more precise, and you can spam through smokes better. Also, why does it matter if it isn't the same as 2022? It's still the same big ass map and pros still use the phantom, that's such a pointless comment
