The worst thing is that the team is most likely making champs because LEV or NRG are making finals 100%.
So we will have to suffer seeing the team get cleared by China again and bomb out 0-2 because they aint getting rid of BABYBAY before champs and bringing someone who can at least improve JAWGEMO's inconsistency and get leaf back on senti.
90% chance they make champs, they would have to bomb out and have NRG and LEV miss GF which is honestly pretty unlikely
i wish we could bring someone to replace babybay before champs - we did a similar thing to put someone to sub for leaf and slot into the system last year between toronto and stage 2 - same time frame imo.
I think alvinboy is looking great - great flexibility on sentinels, can even play omen (and i'm sure viper - only reason not playing that on m80 is cuz they have spaz to do that - but he's done it in the past) - would allow leaf to play phoenix and we can play double duelist, or some great sentinel flexibility is always amazing (more than just chamber and vyse, he's done kj, cypher, veto - prob can do deadlock/sage too but they have nismo ofc)
because m80 are going to bomb out of play-ins, I think we could maybe try to poach him off of m80 and slot him right in? idk
Scout, the only time we replaced someone mid stage or split was with the neT situation and the team recently ascended so they understood the change was needed to compete in T1.

the gap between Toronto and Stage 2 was just as short as Stage 2 and Champs (plus EWC travel in the middle); they had almost no time to slot someone in, I don't think it's impossible for g2
