for this I can speak strategically; I don't AGREE, but i can explain it
babybay's pool is extremely poor. He can play chamber and vyse, that's it. The stereotypical comp is basically Furia's comp; viper-omen-fade-phoenix-neon. The thing is, because of split's small size and incredibly tight mid, this map has historically been one where almost EVERY team plays no sentinel; however, babybay's pool is EXCLUSIVELY sentinel.
They cannot play the stereotypical double duelist on this map; instead, babybay must play a sentinel. Because of this, and g2's need for an entry duelist, they are severely flash depraved. Fade is a great agent to pair with phoenix and set up the duelists; however, fade struggles with neon solo duelist. Chamber's playstyle is inherently slow af, and his map control is just not as good as a phoenix that can flash, molly, and wall. Therefore, trent flexes over to the skye to play flash initiator; other maps where most teams play no sentinel are Breeze, where the phoenix-neon and viper/harbor is very popular (except for 100T and G2) - in this map, you will see trent playing solo skye as well instead of the typical sova, because of the need for flashes since babybay can only play the off-meta chamber
