She will always be good now since people started playing her(like how yoru was always good after the rework but ppl didnt play him much). Only way to fix is either
riot devs are for some reason very much lacking the brain power in understanding that sentinels are meant to stop entries and not just throw shit around for fun
They tryna make every sentinel deadlock 😭
I think it's really telling that sentinels don't have counterplay to Neon + trip break (raze, sova, whoever). You mean to tell me Neon gets to bypass ALL sentinel util, stun the getaway so the senti is stuck, meanwhile scan finds a player and then Neon gets to take an advantageous fight with perfect information? That's just okay? Sentinels are supposed to feel good defending a site against a hit with only 2 agents necessary to remove them from the round?
Fade is super strong and only gets more play because nobody even cares to run a sentinel unless it's for info, no one even thinks about stopping a hit anymore. Viper WOULD be a great counter if Phoenix got shot in the Bronx (twice...) tomorrow.
riot make smart decision challenge
At least for me neon hasn't been a fun agent to watch in pro play. I just hate how easily it can break setups and crossfires. It's ult is stupidly strong too and it's slide is easily the most annoying thing to watch.
Double duelist meta imo would be 10x more fun to watch in pro play if neon is completely dead so hopefully that happens.
Neon is fun to watch if you're always rooting for the neon but if you're not then it's just flat out annoying
Kinda feel like both need to happen to some extent. Neon is fun to watch but for everyone else playing it's a nightmare. Imagine setting up a perfect trap with tons of util and then a Neon player sees the trap happening and stuns the timing of the peek that punishes the trapped player, you just waste all your util for a neon to stun your peek and run away. Just annoying. That on top of the entry power and the passive ability breaking rotate timings... she's still just way too strong
What I would do to fix neon
No slide
Rework ult so it’s not bullshit
Give back speed in air
Jumps cost 15-20 fuel
Recharge fuel on kill is back
Don't remove the slide just make it walking accuracy tbh
