how much different do you guys think 100t would be if we swapped from cryo cypher to chamber

is cypher apart of our core identity? i’m leaning towards yes, but i can’t say definitely if chamber would make us worse : better

cryo’s lurks are becoming better and i feel you’re just nerfing him if you take away so much of his passive info gathering ability

thats how i feel as well, but seeing many teams in apac + the staple of neon chamber makes me kinda fomo not playing chamber

I don't think Cypher is part of our core identity but Cryo will always be a world class Chamber, that'll never go away. If he can bring his Viper/Cypher up to that level slowly it'll be wraps. It's just purely whether they want Cryo OPing on Defense or not, attack playstyle is largely the same with more stopping power on Cypher obviously. Also it allows Timo/Asuna to be taking those aggressive timings on defense instead of Cryo.

The core idea of your guys’ comp archetype is to deny the one tool defenders have in this heavy attack side meta (awping). By removing cypher, you are making it a whole lot easier for other teams to AWP. If Nbs really thought Cryo’s AWP was more valuable than that, they would be playing chamber already with Cryo’s reputation

Most apac teams aren’t actually playing chamber, it’s only T1 (Meteor is trying to role swap to an awper role rather than a true senti) and GenG (t3xture literally doesn’t play cypher)
