Optic were super legit but they did win when fpx was banned and fnc only half the team
they had bad start then, at masters Tokyo they made it to grand finals later they won champs. its not like they were in form for 1 event
Tbh I get why people think lockin fnc is flukey but I feel like they won enough afterwards for it to not be a fluke

I don't think the question is if the teams were good enough to win trophies in their respective years, but all the masters they attended had a reasonably big question mark behind it
True but even a lot of recent events like the first 2 masters this year and last year had significant enough question marks at least to me since for example both Toronto and London have a never before used patch for those events
Yeah, but that is an even playing ground for all teams, and tests their ability to adapt. What I count as flueky are Tokyo(Top 3 team with a sub), and Copenhagen (Top 3 team not attending the thorny).
I mean, Prx played without something so I'd say you can call that into question. Fnc were still by far the best team of the tourny
EDG was obviously not a fluke they beat all of the best teams of 2024, or the teams that beat the remaining top teams of the year
