It's so typical for emea, instead of learning anything new or meta emea teams and players would rather just wait for their comfort picks to get buffed. Derke is the perfect example of that, instead of getting good at neon he waited for raze and jett to be viable again, same with pearl and other new maps.

i think hes saying theres no adaptability within emea teams
the ones that fit the meta will dominate regionally but have a lack of options when they get to the international stage
and the ones that dont fit the meta will be dominated regionally
every region has players like that though
aspas and kk never learnt yoru during the yoru meta, jingg and something dragged prx down throughout 2024 bc of their agent pools

It's funny you used Derke for this considering he is one of the duelist most willing to play and learn new agents. Learning the agent doesn't mean you aren't allowed to dislike her
(Tbh I feel like most of EMEA's top duelist don't have really obvious gaps in their agent pool relative to other regions: AMER has Aspas, APAC has PRX and CN has EDG)
