They’ve been qualified for 6 weeks because China started so early

They qualified on May 4th, does that sound like 6 weeks to you?

They don’t play in the swiss stage, by the time they play it’ll have been around 5-6 weeks. My fault for not knowing the exact days I’ll be better

Even if you were right about it being 6 weeks between them qualifying and playing their first London match, which you aren’t, it still doesn’t account for the fact that they obviously were trying to win China and weren’t just immediately practicing the London patch after qualifying. And the EMEA and pacific teams qualified only 4 days after them, so EDG didn’t get significantly more time than the other 2 regions
