Is SGA top 10 all time already? Back to back MVPs in this era is incredibly impressive, as well as a championship and a finals MVP to go along with it. By far the most impactful player on the court on a nightly basis.

that's some insane cope, Shai is definitely more impactful now than Westbrook was when he won MVP.

Westbrook is definitely a 1 of 1 player and I wish that he won a ring with KD, but it's foolish to say that he's better than Shai. For his era, Westbrook was an incredible player and was the most impactful on his team. However, I believe that Shai has already surpassed him based off the past two years alone

flopping/exaggerating fouls gets him calls in the current state of the nba, gets him fts, and wins the thunder games

i think he's top 20 easily already and another ring would give me reason to push him to 15, i just think the top 10 has way too many giants at the moment and it takes a lot more to justify it

He definitely flops way more than he needs to imo, his playstyle already results in a lot of contact and he could probably get similar FT attempts a game without needing to flail everywhere after most shots
Also, he is one of the shiftiest players in the league whenever he's focused on getting a basket, as opposed to whenever he's trying to draw a foul.

no, he needs to be a better playoff performer. even in 2025 he had many shaky games and got bailed out by okc's historic defense.
I think that his WCF Game 7 performance is good enough to dispel the shaky playoff performer narrative. Him and Cason Wallace were the only ones who showed up for OKC and they almost won.
that's fair to say but even then top 10 is pretty extreme. most guys in ppl's top 10 have multiple rings and longevity

Would you consider Giannis top 10? He did that while also having a dpoy. No one considers Giannis top 10. Jokic also did this and isn’t top 10. SGA being such a playoff dropper isn’t helping his case either.
tbh, the bare minimum for top 10 is 3 rings and being the best player on the team for 2 of those (not necessarily the same as an fmvp)
giannis would be top 15 if the Bucks could figure out how to build a roster around him
