My take is at their best all three were top tier in their region and pretty good internationally, I loved them on stage as well
they lack structure and guidance, they were very obviously just waiting for glacier since the offseason and kinda tanking kickoff/evo 1, and they certainly had everything planned to accomodate glacier (spring to flex, playing double-init pretty often) but that didn't work out because they lack proper strats, setups and comps. like genuinely, if you look at what they're still playing 24 GenG Haven but without any spine, NRG pearl etc etc. (also Jowa is just kinda bad, doesn't help at all)
That's true for almost all cn teams except for like xlg. Even edg has those problems but yeah wolves have it worse.
yeah, coaching and structure is an issue for most CN teams at the moment still, there is a lot of good individuals but a lack of cohesion, but IMO it is very obvious for teams like Wolves (and FPX) who definitely have the level on paper to be a good team but aren't, unlike Nova who has bad structure and poor individuals (except maybe Ezeir).
Funnily enough, there's a couple different profiles of teams in china ,IE the good individuals but bad structure (WOL, FPX..), good individuals, correct structure (EDG, XLG) decent team with overheating issues (AG, JDG, TEC..), one man teams (TYL, kinda FPX) etc.
