The reason
Champs has 4 teams qualify from each region for a total of 16 teams, 2 teams are overall good performers, the other 2 finish top of the leaderboard removing the 2 Champs Point qualifiers
Masters(atleast the 3 team ones) , has 3 teams qualify from each region, based on leaderboard position only for a total of 12 teams.
So by that logic
16/12 times the equivalent of 1 master = 1 champs
16/12 if you know basic math is just 4/3 = 1.33
But since you get like effectively 8 "prime" Teams if we can call it that cuz they perform the best at stage 2. Compared to the 12 prime teams you get in a masters(prime is just meaning they were at their peak during that event, hence why they got the podium finish)
We can assume an overall performer like 90% of a prime team(cuz while they're reliably good they arent the gold standard the prime team is) (this is on the upper level, lower levels could argue 50%)
So then the effective number of prime teams for a champs is 8+8×9/10= 8×19/10=15.2 prime teams
Now
15.2/12=1.26667 or just approximately 1.27
So effectively by this very rough calculation we have 1 champs = 1.33 or 1.27 masters using the assumptions i made
Champs is not 2 or 5 masters when you look at it.
The only reason we give it more is cuz its at the end of the year but with how many champ winning teams really dont perform at the same level ever again, it doesnt feel different from a masters other than the name being more "prestigious"
