The downfall of EXL needs to be studied. Like they used to rule over LATAM North and yet after the rebrand to lazer they are kind of bad and had their spot taken by Lyon. Like surely a few players and their coach being poached couldn't have caused this much of a downfall.

it doesn’t need to be studied, the reason is simple: their star duelist was poached and replaced by a bum
I mean even after virtyy left they were still winning quite a bit of games, they just weren't good enough to qualify to ascension, but now they can hardly even win.
i cannot describe how bad Tuli was, like the guy played like he didn’t have a brain and when it mattered he made his team play like they didn’t have brains
Yes, but Tuli didn't stay with EXL when they rebranded to Lazer. Like its pretty shocking how a team that has been as dominant in LATAM North since 2024 somehow went from being able to win games even with Tuli, to one of the worst LATAM North teams.
to be fair they lost really insane talent to other teams. darker and virtyy went to loud, and feniz (who should be in tier 1) went to lyon
But its kind of weird that an org like them who has had really good talent scouting in the past suddenly aren't able to find any good players and basically had all their good talent leave. Makes you think something internal happened or something.
