i always saw it in the perspective of:
you buy the team you support, but i guess people buy them too because they look good
People are buying just overall good bundles now, in spite of whatever team they might represent (ag #1 in china because of paw classic, dfm #3 because they have a goated color scheme)
LEV had a shit ton of fans in 2024 bc of aspas -> LEV bundle was the best vct bundle in 2024 -> many people bought the 2024 bundle -> buying the same bundle in 2026 costs less bc you don’t have to pay for the costs added by the spray and buddy -> people continue to buy it
Well part of it is that it's a good looking classic, but they also have a lot of fans in SA and China. Also they try to pander to the Chinese audience by posting on bilibili and stuff.
Yeah its pretty surprising, also Neon even has a weibo link in his VLR profile and you can also find an official Lev account on weibo too
most ppl dontt rebuy classics every year and ppl who wanted sen prob alr bought them
