no region is currently good atm i cant lie there are decent teams but as a whole each region is shit

Old EMEA teams in their prime like Fnatic, Navi, etc. showed us a near close perfect version of Valorant which we might never see again
it only ever looked 'perfect' because teams didnt know how to play against those kinds of defaults
cant call it perfect valorant if it can get exploited and eventually becomes less viable and tactical depth since 2022 is so much larger
The tactical depth in 2026 is rush A, rush mid, rush B, hold, make cool Setplay, or die
24/25 was probably the last time we saw true tactical depth with the yoru
Just see difference between levels of Champs La and Masters madrid or even champs Seoul
it objectively is though? even some of the worst teams, as long as their igling isnt absolutely horrible, has layers and layers more protocols and depth of knowledge than an above average team in 2022 or 2023, you only think it looks better because simple ideas executed slowly worked a lot better then compared to now, again because people know how to play against it
this narrative that they were playing 'perfect' valorant is bullshit and completely reliant on the idea that playing slow is the objectively best way to play the game, which it isnt. as bren said just because sova recons are every 60 seconds doesnt mean the players are stupider
that was FPX tho, not NAVI
by the time the team signed to navi every other team had developed a frontal lobe and navi were shit
I agree, matches are absurdly unpredictable, and some players have really inconsistent performances.
every region is shit cause riot deleted util and nerfed everyone (i wonder why)
meta is changing so quickly thats why teams are dogshit. Few months ago they bring 2 duelist meta with yoru + waylay (cause of sentinel and init nerfs), then they killed yoru and waylay, then neon became the most dominant agent oat, now they are nerfing neon and buffing init + sentinels again.
