this is genuinely horrible. as someone whos been playing neon since launch this character is absolutly dead. the jumping movement tech is what differentiated her from other duelists and now you just get hard punished cause youre forced to run in a straight line. The uptime for her sprint is also terrible, no refresh on kill actually destroys her whole gameplay loop. Im honestly so sick of riot just nerfing characters with high skill ceilings to the ground. Theres a difference between nerfs to make characters less meta and straight up murdering how they play. i feel for you yoru mains ts is so trash

as a non neon player that got run down so much in immo lobbies with shotguns i am so happy
shotgun nerfs are good i agree but the character is so trash now man, taking away movement from the movement based character makes no sense to me, i feel like it would be way better to buff her counters so she gets less impact overall
shes not dead, but as a ranked player shes significantly less fun to play since theres no more fun neon movement
ok but this is not a good direction for the game imo
you basically just killed the fun movement fantasy of neon and made her a boring ass agent
agents are losing their unique identities that make them distinguishable
riot isn't rewarding agent mastery, they are actively punishing players who push a champion to a high skill ceiling
spot on man, and lets not forget that this is directly cause we finally saw someone piloting neon to full potential in dambi. your average ranked player is not doing this crazystuff. theyre typically just running it down with a shotgun. so the problem isnt even with the agent whos had this movement forever, but the tools she has access to in the shotguns. simple resource bar rework alongside the shotgun nerfs and buffing to other agents wouldve been perfect.
Let neon mains rot of couple months we will then start talking about the agent being dead. Now let non neon players have the moment.

agreed, they tried to balance neon but they just removed the fun part of her kit
shotgun changes and maybe fuel rework would have been a way better solution on its own

it's a good nerf, now she won't have 80+% pick rate because she's so good on her own with that bs airborne speed, unlike yoru which got massacred so bad
now, she need supports to be as good
I just feel like its a little overkill, i think maybe keeping the jump speed the same but not having kill reset would be good cause then you get punished for not managing your resources well kinda like viper, but time will tell i guess, im obviously biased
