a pause was called actually. there is no midround freeze function in VALORANT for some fucking reason, you can tell a pause was called by the fact that all 9 other players in the lobby had their hands off their keyboards and leaned back in their chairs
Clearly Referee was too slow to call that pause anyhow since Ethan was still moving. There would instant penalty by the referee cause you know he was talking to them about the pause according to the rule cited above
