Since ascent is back in the map pool what could be the meta now? Usually kay/o sova was the signature comp for ascent but yoru as single duelist merged kay/o flashes and jett entries as one. I was wondering what could be the meta now? still double senti or maybe team would lean towards double duelist comp with phx?

pheonix is a pretty good alternative for kay/o so i'd expect this comp to be played a lot
Senti and Ini are nerfed too much so I think double duelist like neon jett and sova omen would be the meta. Teams would pick Chamber or Killjoy or viper depending on the entry comp. However since Waylay c got nerfed, I can hardly see viper being picked out

I really think this is just jett and that waylay isn't gonna be that widely used. The reason is that most duelists are just better at jett since she has been out longer and jett is better for oping which is a very big part of ascent.
I don't think we will see any chamber play since ascent is pretty defense sided. You need a proper sentinel which is prob killjoy but i can see abit of vyse being played.
Kayo and phoenix is up in the air but i lean more to phoenix since everyone is running double duelist.

That truly depends on weather we get massive changes for stage 2. But PRX always does well at internationals so map pool will not affect them much.
map pool affects any team bro. Every team that has won has had a map pool that favors them
I agree but other than abyss and corrode, paper rex has been good at all the other maps in all metas. They just need the entire team to be primed for a champs win just like Toronto.

fade???? I think sova scan is so much better at clearing than fade scan. fade dogs also aren't that useful since it doesn't travel far enough to clear some important angles on ascent

i think people want verticality with jett but omen works for that too

Phoenix is so op on ascent Icl, I was winning games on Ascent with phx, farm easy orbs and u got infinite ult every round
