The UI doesn't adapt to different res, so if you dare use a non native aspect ratio then enjoy trying to phase your cursor through a different menu just to click something, and all the slider based options now snap instead of being smoothly tweakable.
Also side order of this god fucking awful opaque angular gradient grey boxes everywhere instead of just the clean white smooth lines

yea i dont like the new slider it dont feels smooth, plus every sinces they change the friends sidebar it just went downhill, my pc is not that poweful and i have alot of friends and it just takes up fps. in the past i can just perma close the friends list but now when ever i hop into a match i have to manually close it

Bro i play in 4:3 because I'm used to it from cs. The old ui was fine but the new one is even worse for buttons overlapping and in some areas not even being on my screen. Ik it's my fault for using a different resolution but a large portion of the playerbase uses stretched res and designing a ui that can at least be slightly used in 4:3 or other resolutions should be important to them.
regardless of resolution, the new ui also just looks like poo and is poo

the absolute GOYCATTLE CRETINS who decided to uniformise the pc and console ui and execute such a terrible job while doing it should get fired and never get a job in the industry again.
WHY IS THE VOLUME SLIDER NOT A SLIDER ANYMORE? why the fuck can i only choose to set my volume between 0-10? what if i dont want to get my ears pierced while im playing dm, yet still hear something while playing music in the bg?
the crosshair menu is almost worse with all of the illogical decisions theyve made with it (options for inner/outer lines barely fit on 16 BY FUCKING 9) (custom colours of crosshairs arent shown, so in case youve made a crosshair previously with a different colours from the options provided you have to check the crosshair code for it or do it all over again)
personally i dont play stretched but i understand your frustrations if you do, with riot terrorising a specific part of the playerbase for no reason at all
i could go on for hours with how much some of these ui changes upset me (there is a few of them which i dont mind/enjoy) but ill stop myself here before i say something whichll get me banned
Why the hell does Rito need to change the UI each patch? Its as if they havent got any ideas for a good update, so they just change the UI. It def takes a lot of getting used to.

yeah pretty much, i spent 90% of my time on other games, especially during the vct season where i can watch decent to good quality games vs ranked
every company outside of games too do this shit, they spend their r&d budget so they can keep it for next year, just furthers the enshittificaion of everything
