You dropped 30 because Riot gave you a game they expected you to win. You lost 20 because it was a challenge and you lost the challenge.

I deranked from asc to d3 like 2 days ago. I was 1 game from ranking back up like 4 times today. its fucked

I think the answer is you feel like something is taken away from you by not being where you think you deserve. This is your brain working against you and telling you to continue to play. This is how ranked works. It analyzes when you play and when you don't. The patterns of you getting close to ranking up are probably when you play more. It will move you to a place where you are almost there just to keep you playing.
We live in a data drive society now. Technology is built this way on purpose.
This act's ranked is by far the worst I've seen it even without the weird rr gains/loses (people said it had to do with 5 stacking but I soloq and still have this issue so idk) the games are so braindead it's so sad to see
