The richest league but the worst performers in internationals since champs 2024. I don't get why do these teams instead of picking random EU T2 players pay crazy money to coaches like Bonkar, Minny, JoshRt, Ewok, Warbirds to build a solid team to compete with the rest.

Surely China can pay more than NA orgs if needed given the massive popularity of the game.
i mean chinese players are also just worse so its probably preferable to work with players who know how to play the game and isn't just all aim no brain
why not do both?

yea but that's not the way normal people think about it + NA pays well enough already, especially for EU coach who can just go back to europe once their time is done
They can do the same when working in china. Its not like they have to perma move there and with the current VCT structure you get more than enough down time to go back to EU/NA. Like just look at these chinese teams running the same comp. I mean I get Neon and waylay is strong but it doesn't mean every team has to run it.
I think it's very obvious that it's easier to move to NA than to China for a bunch of reasons that you can pbb figure out yourself

Rarga is not even close to happywei... They can legit get life & notice no diff..
He can even comms in english.. Vookashu is def the best import.. Now drg got solid roster. But it was legit 1v5 in 2023 24
I mean with a country of 1B population a decent coach can surely find local talent through good scouting.
They are filing in 12 teams. Every teams got 2 3 solid players..
Its just gonna take 1 or 2 ascension.
Even bum jdg got star players.. They poached best t2 talent zhe..
As far as I know, Chinese teams have tried contacting Mini but failed. Maybe some coaches simply don’t want to come to China at all. The ones we can get are probably coach like Fistie.Besides, there’s a fundamental difference between China and other regions when it comes to importing foreign players: most Chinese players can’t communicate fluently in English. Even in fully English-speaking teams like FPX, you can see aaaay clearly fails to understand instructions sometimes.
So it’s a tough choice， pick players from Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia who share a similar Chinese-language context, or take a young Russian player and hope he picks up Chinese quickly?
