Letting Life (such an established player, kang kang equivalent player) go and expecting some young kiddos to fill in their spaces is straight up L move.
Also spiritz and life on one team is criminal, why is no one talking about it ??

Well Life needs to head to the rejuvenation station. If he finds form, DRG will be very strong.

you got no ball knowledge lil bro
kang kang and life are tenz and yay of pre franchising.
u can stick to watching fortnite or watching MEMEa

i mean comparing them to TenZ and yay is a bit crazy but yeah life is one of the most iconic CN players in CN's early stages at intls(so like 2023 and 2024)

The thing is that Tenz and yay are nor comparable in the big 2026 because Tenz has actually done something during franchising unlike yay. Same with Life who's been one of the worst players in china for several events meanwhile Kangkang keeps having regional success at the very least. Idk if you realize that there is no region outside of china where a player would still have a job if he was playing like life has been for the past year
let go of life autumn and nathand literally all the things making the team good other than aaaay
Teunoin [#9]i mean comparing them to TenZ and yay is a bit crazy but yeah life is one of the most iconic CN players in CN's early stages at intls(so like 2023 and 2024)
thats what i am sayin

its not the success i am talking about.
All i am saying is they were and are still the most iconic players of the league

Iconic does not mean shit. No org should care about their players being iconic if they're not good

i personally don't think kangkang is a good player but it doesnt matter here anyways
in any case letting any player that performs well AND is a tenured player of that team is stupid as fuck, i genuinely don't get why orgs are so stupid in every competitive title (obviously i know it's because of the risk of losing money if you keep going with a bad team) but its just a lose lose unless you get lucky with a roster that can click in 2 months. legit just let people build chemistry together dude, especially in val it is arguably THE most important thing in the entire game. i have a lot of experience IGL'ing in T3 teams (yes yes shitter teams i know) but i cannot emphasize enough how important chemistry is between a team and shortening people's time together only makes a team worse imo (unless they've struggled for like 3+ years of working together).
FPX last year was lackluster to say the least as they were obviously an insane team in 2024. but blowing up their core from 2024 this year was THE worst thing to do AND THEN THEY DID IT AGAIN MID YEAR :(, they're going to accomplish next to nothing this year imo. i still love them and want them to do well but it's just really frustrating seeing org after org do this

Lost me at "don't think kangkang is a good player" but you make a good argument besides that.

are you genuinely stupid life has had good to amazing performances EVERY event besides stage 1 of 2025 and kickoff this year (he also played a grand total of 7 maps this kickoff). regardless the ONLY reason why he did poorly this kickoff is BECAUSE of the team and it being blown up, there's a reason he did so well before. this is just genuinely the most recency bias post i've ever seen
also this is JUST looking at stats, which mean close to nothing. life is an insane entry duelist and has an insane grasp of when to take fights, his gamesense is genuinely very good. his agent pool is also huge, he literally plays EVERY duelist
MrBlooBloom [#16]Iconic does not mean shit. No org should care about their players being iconic if they're not good
It does matter, sign em as a streamer and you'll get a lot of viewers.
Kaust [#18]Lost me at "don't think kangkang is a good player" but you make a good argument besides that.
his stats r fine i just don't think he's a team player at all, and when he is it's just brainlessly running in and getting himself killed, he's just not on the same page as the rest of edg
he's like a demon1 to me
no hate to him as a person obviously, i just think he needs to work on his individuality

Insane (peaks at barely more than 1.0 rating on average)
Kaust [#20]It does matter, sign em as a streamer and you'll get a lot of viewers.
Unfortunately Life is signed to play and not to stream
MrBlooBloom [#24]Insane (peaks at barely more than 1.0 rating on average)
0/8 1.0 is a good rating, and he's usually around 1.1
voidmeow [#26]0/8 1.0 is a good rating, and he's usually around 1.1
sub 1.0 is not a good rating.
On average since kickoff 2025 he's had a .87 rating.
That's straight up shit
MrBlooBloom [#25]Unfortunately Life is signed to play and not to stream
Missing out, generational streamer right there
voidmeow [#3]i dont know

berlin has had 3 years to do something wdym u feel bad for him
I_LOVE_LESS [#29]berlin has had 3 years to do something wdym u feel bad for him
cuz he's a good player and 2024/2025 fpx was really good on paper, they had tons of good ideas
their results were bad last year obviously but i dont think blowing up a roster over ONE bad year is the solution
MrBlooBloom [#27]sub 1.0 is not a good rating.

sigh

why would you exclude these? They happened. You can't ignore them and act as if it wasn't literally half of the events he's played for the last year
MrBlooBloom [#32]why would you exclude these? They happened. You can't ignore them and act as if it wasn't literally half of the events he's played for the last year
why would you only look at the past year, my only point is that you have recency bias, which i explained is a bad mentality to have and why blowing a roster up because of it leads to tons of issues
look at his entire time on fpx

because FPX has changed a lot and NathanD is gone and clearly Life hasn't been the same either

I think it's mostly because life hasn't been playing well recently although that has changed today.
MrBlooBloom [#34]because FPX has changed a lot and NathanD is gone and clearly Life hasn't been the same either
which is why you find a better system for a clearly talented player 2024 fpx is the good system im referencing. instead they blew up their roster multiple times over the past year and a half, which led to life being kicked which is just stupid. recency bias is not a good thing to base replacing a player off of. i explained why in a different post if you wanna read my full reply, no pressure if not though. anyways it boils down to not letting chemistry build and not actually working on team issues, its like putting a bandaid on your knee after it got shot. there's a chance it holds and stops the bleeding, but that chance is SO incredibly low because you're gambling on a new set of players to perform with less experience together, it can work but it's rare and hard. and this is especially poor decision making in FPX's case because they SHOWED they are a good team and have chemistry and work together, and life performed during that. the moment things stopped going their way they pussied out and kicked him instead of working the issues out and getting back to them being a top team again

well he just found himself a different system. FPX can do without him, he's not the only guy in china who can use a mouse
