neon wasnt touched alot and wasn't complained about alot in pro play and ranked until dambi came along and shit on every1, now everyone's saying neons always been broken when she's already been nerfed twice and now some people 4 saying to take away jumping while running?? or making her stun not bounce??? genuinely why is riot listening to these people when MAJORITY of the player base (asc/diamond and below) don't play against these one trick neons, so it's legit just making an agent worse for low ranks and lowering skill ceilings AGAIN just because theres a loud minority of people whose brain heard "neon is broken" when watching some guy analysing VCT and now just repeat it everywhere. neon has been the same for months and only now she's broken??

BY THE WAY, 50 percent of the waylay neon and yoru "brokenness" could be solved by just buffing other agents like cypher hitting dashing waylay, vyse flash buff, kj alarmbot being faster, sage and deadlock just buffs in general which would all counter the faster play style, but instead of buffing everything so using agents util is still fun, we want to nerf everything just because some people cant handle playing someone that spent time learning and mastering an agent

Valroant playerbase will forget stuff from a day ago if it favours enough peoples narratives

exactly, and after 1 guy complains it gets echoed throughout and then people think, hey I got cooked by neon with a shotgun once, surely she's broken!

Riot has hired a bunch of glue sniffers for balancing the game. This started when they introduced Tejo and people rightfully complained about util. But post 11.08 all the patches have been dogwater. If nerfing is the direction they want to go forward, this game will die out before they realize it. For a tac shooter they hate to address the problem with shotguns, odin and outlaw.

Its definitely way more than it was before, but this has been going on for a while now.
If you wanna go back in time look at the reactions from community, players and analysts when https://x.com/Dambi_vlrt/status/1849412702311272784 happened. We had very similar discussions about if an agent (and gun) should be able to do that.
Mind you neon has gotten 2 nerfs since Miniboo brought her into the spotlight too - so its not new for people to want her nerfed either.

neon was objectively broken near the end of 2024. neon rn is not broken, simply a byproduct of the crazy senti nerfs. she's at a perfect point rn where it genuinely is a skill issue if you either can't play her or against her

yes i want the whole game to be centered on my playstyle, that would indeed increase my fun exponentially
i can adapt ingame, that's not the problem, i don't wish to change how i play entirely 👍
