That allows falcons into valorant.
Falcons aren't allowed to enter valorant because of riots bans on government sponsorships, but the rules don't say that government sponsored teams can't just sponsor another NON government sponsored team.
Couldn't they technically become a sponsor for a team like CGN or Barca. They themselves arent a government sponsor, they're a team sponsored by a government.
Currently, Falcons does not have an active Valorant roster. So, under the rules, they are technically a "non-competitor". Meaning they could sponsor a team acting as a company because technically, Team Falcons is a company in a way. As long as Falcons never make a team they could just sponsor another.
They could also enter a partnership with another team, Like with FNC and MDR or CGN and TH
The only thing they can't do is be what's called a "title sponsor" meaning they can't slap their Image onto a team's jersey or put their name on the team's title like og did with redbull to become Red Bull OG. But Falcons can give another team money by letting them appear in content or letting them use their building in saudi arabia for bootcamps. Giving them money without actively owning the org.
Cgn can then give this money back with fees on all of those services.
To be clear I don't wanna see falcons in this esport at all. I just thought of this and I think if it works it'd be kinda funny
