How does this seeding make any sense at all?
Like
Yeah let's stack all the high seeds in one group and then put all the lower seedings in the last, making it a way less stacked group.
There's 3 problems with that:
-Some groups are excessively stacked compared to others
-It's incredibly uninteresting to have the majority of the first seeds in just 2 groups
-It makes the 3 teams group format unfair compared to the 4 teams groups, because 3 teams groups are just shit in general, and it's even more of a problem because that's the groups with the most 1st seeds (=> unbalanced play offs seeding)
I see 2 solutions with this:
Stop spamming group stages as if it was the most interesting and fair format ever and just make a Swiss stage or a round Robin or smth
Or stop giving Northeast's 3rd and 4th seed a spot; don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that Chaza Leare and Raz get to play on the "big stage", but 3rd and 4th seed will always be worse than the average 1 and 2 seeds (except maybe for DACH and even then I don't think so), we saw it last time with BOARS and Deti Ulice who were barely competitive. Now, I think both of these teams were worse than PL and MIR are. But it's not like there's a gap big enough, and both teams got rolled by their own 1st and 2nd seeds, especially MIR (tbf EP and TLA are pbb the favorites for the tournament but still)
