JDG, a bumass team in china once offered our washedpas 6 figures salary minimum 100k per month while NA teams give their top of the top players maximum 50 grands.
Remember stew, the Korean prodigy back in the day stood toe to toe with huynmin of the best Korean duelist has been jailed by JailDG since 2024 with the salary that equal to the whole roster's salary budget of a low tier 1 apac team. Prolly around 100k-150k/month
Some kids in BLG academy get paid 100k, 120k per year.

And yet that how they play in this Masters.

mr. XI has to check some orgs real quick maybe they fake debt (because our players play so bad) to evade taxes

no fucking shit.

BLG is owned by Billi billi, aka chineese yt

weiblo gaming and jdg are owned by massive chineese econ companies

Chinese esports has a shit ton of money poured in by massive chineese companies. Faker is always offered 20 mil a year by a undisclosed chineese org every time his contract expires. Ruler, who barely knows chineese, was definitely offered 3 mil + in 2023. Knight from league is definitely earning millions in BLG.

Its just the nature of chineese orgs. Still shit no matter what. League is probably even more crazier

these guys very well can. Chinese teams aren't owned by some bum ex pro in the middle of a mid life crisis. These orgs are owned by Chinese giants that are on the top of the Chinese market.

Im not talking about the small teenagers in training camp. Im talking about the C-tier China league contenders where the teams look like it's built from random college students but they actually trained from big org like blg edg, etc. Xcurrate once joined a team and played there for fun. Those player can get paid 3000k to 8000k based on their talent. And if good enough they got snatched into tier 1 team like au1 in AG.

The salaries for youth training in China generally fluctuate around 4000 RMB, and the minimum wage in Shanghai is 2740.💀

Nah production level alone contradict this shit.

Keeping shit secret to avoid influx of teenagers leaving studies for gaming career.

You have to realize the 2025 Champions set alone generated 250 million RMB on TikTok. The actual number is probably even higher. The Valorant market in China is just massive. Also, it should be the teams paying the salaries, not Tencent.

China has a nine-year compulsory education policy, which basically means you have to finish high school. Plus, a lot of vocational schools (think of them as skill-training schools) actually offer esports classes. So the whole idea that players are dropping out for a high salary is just a myth. Oh, and there's a strict 18+ rule here.no one under 18 is allowed to compete in any tournaments

Xcc's team was actually formed because Kasarj needed a fill-in. And the reason Kasarj had that team in the first place was because EDG wanted to offload PIN and asked Kasarj to play around with him. Have you ever seen a guy paying out 30K actually use in-game voice chat instead of TeamSpeak?

this guy was an unregistered sub for BLG. He was always traveling with the team, but later he left on his own. He mentioned he was getting paid 20k RMB per month just as a substitute
