I dislike pansy & hypoc casting style. IMHO the best casters let you know whats actually going on in the game, and they're not hitting that spot for me. I can't quite explain it, can someone with a big brain shed a light on this topic. What makes a good casters?

i get what you mean , pansy and hypoc are hype casters , and thats really what clicks with people , and they explain what happens in the round enough for casuals.
Yeah their a bit too much of hype and flowery words for me. I need a balance play by play and hype. Like that forsaken ace against EDG, the whole match was a good spectacle.
If it's anything like how achilios and paperthin cast I'm sure I would like it.
A good caster for me just brings the hype. I don’t need a caster to narrate what’s going on for me, I look at the minimap myself. My favorite caster is Achilios
I don't like when it got nothing to do with the play in an important moments and spams catchy words like "davai is a big player in big games" like can we talk about how he play that round beautifully instead just hype and flowery words. But that's just my two cents.
i think youre right, achilios and paperthin just say what is happening, pansy and hypoc have more fun with it and bring more hype
Yes achillos and paperthin is my favorite pair of caster, achilios get the balance between the play and the hype after that paperthin backs up achilios's energy with the round analysis.
Oh mb I got you wrong, well Ig it's just preference like other people suggested.
This just sounds like personal preference but it shouldn't stop you from acknowledging that they are good casters they can just be not for you personally

i see what youre saying but its 2026, if you dont know yourself whats going on its kinda on you, i prefer the hype heavy casters to keep me into the game
I can track most of what's going on but I need some extra info from the caster to get a better viewing experience (like how many ult points are they away from ult ready or what util does the opposite players have to cancel the enemy possible incoming play). I don't need adjectives to be thworn at me about the players but then again ig it's all about preference.
