SEN as a org and Rob Moore seem to be throwing kaplan under the bus to justify the decision to fire him as a coach and created this negative connotation and narrative.

I mean if there is a group project and one of the members was the main factor in making the creative decisions. And said creative decisions were and turn out to be bad decisions. Are you not going to place the responsibility and burden of the results of said decisions on the guy who made the decisions?

bro SEN are going through a rebuild and the roster was clearly not geling together, even if he did not make any changes there is a low likelihood of even qualifying for Santiago. Also zekken was put into the same role in MIBR and he was going to leave regardless.

A rebuild does not excuse bad decision you think I'm referring to the results... I'm not these were bad changes REGARDLESS of result... again if the roster isn't meshing together well WHOS responsibility is that? I'm not saying he can't make changes... johnqt to duelist is a change... but obviously not a good one. Simply making changes does not excuse said changes from criticism. Zekken was put into the same role because he has aspas... sen has N4RRATE... can we be serious? Zekken is an amazing player but most teams are dropping their star duelist for another??? I don't understand this point most of the teams that would have wanted zekken and could actually afford him have duelists already... just like keiko on nrg.

zekken would have left for MIBR no matter what. Why would he stay on SEN for main duelist but for a rebuild year when he can play with aspas

definitely not replacing the coach who fucking qualled to almost every international in two years. Don't understand why they didn't just replace N4rrate and kyu and go again with kaplan

Because kaplan was clearly set on his vision... bro he wanted to put n4rrate on duelist over zekken I don't think you all truly understand just how TRASH that decision is. AND over reduxx.

zekken was gone bro, let it go. Zekken was trialing for other teams on the same role that Kaplan had him on, check #20 if ur argument is he woulda stayed if given duelist on sen.

i would be throwing the coach under the bus too if he didn’t want one of the most prolific and talented duelist in valorant to play duelist.

n4rrate was more comfortable on his other role.

it is questionable decision making and a disservice to both players. kaplan had full control and failed miserably.

didn't zekken just end up in that same role under frod though?

no team offered him a duelist role which is insane.

eventually he choose to play support for the better duelist(aspas). it is what it is.

yes but thats cuz hes playing with one of like 3 players thats more respected as a duelist than him. n4rrate is NOT one of those 3

they shouldn't have put narrate on duelist no matter what, i mean iirc his initi back on KC was cracked

no one that offered Zekken a contract wanted him on main duelist. So should rob moore convince all the other teams to cut their coaches too?

maybe offer zekken main duelist role again?

it’s what he wanted to play and that have convinced him to stay on sentinels.

no one offered him main duelist. and he still chose to leave sen even though everyone was offering the same role

Kaplan was never replacing Zekken hes just wanted him to play a role which every team was going to put him on no one is that dumb to not get Zekken back

just offer him main duelist.

it’s not that hard brody. maybe he would have stayed.
n4rrate would have played better on initiator too.

nah he had the chance to make a superteam and SEN was going to have to go through a rebuild year regardless if he left or stayed so he chose the chance to advance his career

He never wantdd to play for sen he took less money from other teams like NRG just to play with Aspas and Sen dont have that kinda of money to get Aspas and Zekken

I find it strange that people who enjoy Valorant do not believe that the coach is responsible for the outcome of the game. Winning and losing have a direct results on the finances of the organization. If you win a lot, sponsors are interested. If you lose a lot, sponsors are not interested.

In simple terms, if they win, finances go up, the coach keeps his job. If they lose, finances CAN go down, the coach loses his job. This is how coaching works everywhere except the sports you played growing up.

People who disagree with this only care about their personal feelings as fans and don't live in the real world.

right, but in this situation n4rrate literally said he went into the season not fit to play, sure you can make some roster changes if it is bad but Kaplan is still a good coach and took them to champs literally the split before. J run it back with a roster that actually wants to win and grow w that imo

The problem is that you don't get to pick and choose when to apply responsibility and accountability.

As a fan, you are not in a position to judge the qualities of Kaplan. You may be influenced by the casters or their win rates during certain periods but we are too removed to determine the quality of his coaching.

This is why VLR is entertainment. We are all just full of shit and we pretend we know.
