imho babybay was not necessarily a firepower upgrade, but he just suited the direction the team needed to go in terms of roles better as leaf didnt want to go duelist
well have you ever seen jonah get a chance to showcase his waylay? didnt think so
I’ve seen Jonah play plenty of duelist and I can easily say he would be the worst duelist on the roster, valyn said included
well thats what I mean by in terms of roles cuz if leaf actually wanted to go 2nd duel then jonah would be on the viper/senti role which I think he is really good at
but unfortunately for jonah they play more into leaf's comfort
the overall combination of leaf 2nd duelist and Jonah senti isn’t a higher firepower combo than babybay 2nd duelist and leaf senti, which is what I’m trying to say.
literally casually shits on cryo h2h, NRG, and MIBR and was one of their best rated players for kickoff, only behind valyn. be fr. JonahP is still very good, but for all intents, babybay was a firepower upgrade
G2 know what they were doing. They have people who get paid to make these decisions. People on vlr need patience.
na not really. he was a big reason they qualified to some of the internationals last year. They had a couple games where his clutches during key rounds legit won them the map. he is actually very underrated for his performance on G2.
ngl Jonah won’t be that good in this meta but he will be in the future. Given the state of the game, I find it very hard to believe that Riot won’t be looking to nerf Yoru and buff tf out of flash initiators
nah i feel like jonahp will be like patmen, he'll start performing like crazy as soon as he leaves the g2 system where he was always decent but not amazing
