Manila, Philippines In a surprising development within the APAC region, Team Secret has officially parted ways with team manager Yamyam after reports surfaced that she had received several death threats from a segment of fans.
According to sources close to the organization, the decision was made following escalating online harassment directed at Yamyam. While the organization has yet to release a detailed public statement regarding the nature of the threats, it emphasized that the safety and well-being of its staff remain a top priority.
To stabilize the team during the transition, Puppey (Clement Ivanov), the long-time captain and leader of Team Secret’s Dota 2 division, will step in as temporary manager for the Valorant squad. His experience and leadership within the organization are expected to help guide the team through this period of restructuring.
Alongside the managerial change, Team Secret is reportedly making significant roster adjustments.
Veteran Filipino player JessieVash (Jessie “Jessievash” Cuyco) has been placed on reserve status as the organization prepares to finalize new signings.
