How does the swiss stage work?

the valorant teams play games against eachother

2 losses you’re out, 2 wins you’re in

draws are by random after round 1 (ie same seeded or regional matchups are totally possible)

random draw
lose one, play another team that lost their first game. loser of that is eliminated
win your first, play another team that won their first. if you win, you go to playoffs
after the first two games the four 1-1 teams play for final spots
