Its funny that when Auti, Nitr0, NBK ,etc switched to Valorant, CS frogs said that ''washed player, Valorant retirement home'' but when those players back to CS , CS frogs said ''Valorant dead game, CS players back, NA CS is saved'' lmao. With that logic , players like Auti (tier 3 team in Val), Nitr0 (tier 1 team in Val), NBK (didn't even join proper team in Val) even more washed than when they switched to Val but somehow still join tier 1-2 teams/orgs in CS (TL, EG, Mouz)

Many teams wanted NBK but they were either unwilling to pay his large buyout from OG or he was unwilling to join them. He only wanted to play in the biggest teams. He declined to play for a lot of tier two teams and even some borderline tier one to my understanding.

Well the difference between Autimatic and nitro and NBK is two of them were in a struggling NA scene hit hard due to Covid with not a lot of options. People said they were washed but they are just retarded. Even though Autimatic had lackluster results he played good and we all know how well nitro played. I think they make champions if they didn’t drop steel but that’s just imo. Going with NBK, he just wanted a free handout back to t1 cs after he got benched instead of joining a t2 team and working his way back up (Kennys was the same) and I believe he had a big buyout. I never followed NBK in Val so I don’t know how good he was in it. I just know before he switched he wasn’t playing great in CS. I think it’s just ego thing.

Those who call Valorant dead are stupid but most likely call it dead because a lot of Val players call cs dead so. Cs players been hearing it since 2017 so I can assume it’s annoying.

Regarding the retirement home, as harsh as it sounds, at least in the NA scene for Val, majority of the pros were washed or failed cs players which isn’t a bad thing but it Is the truth. It would be nice to see more new players given a chance than same players cycled between rosters like NA cs.

This was a lot longer then I intended too. My bad

I think he also had a big buyout as well that teams didn’t want to pay. He was still contracted with OG till the new year started.

Let me tell you the fact of NA CS, NA Val have way more young talents than NA CS atm. Playerbase of CS in NA is way way smaller than NA Val (both Casuals or FPL/Faceits), and players like Tenz , S0m, Ethan, Shanks, Leaf, etc are all young, they were young prodigies of NA CS but switched to Val and still hasn't switched back. NA CS look more washed than NA Val tbh

Well the playerbase in Valorant in NA is bigger than the playerbase of CS rn in NA just due to the fact of Valorant is trendy in NA. There is a lot of young talent in both scenes but none of them get signed. I get there were players in CS who switched to Val who never got a real chance in cs who now are on a team but the examples you gave are kind of bad.
Tenz has The biggest following in Valorant, why would he switch back
S0m had potential but dipped before he got a real chance, if he switched where he would go?
Ethan was the only player you mentioned who had a real career in CS but switched due to travel. I don’t see him switching back unless LANs fully return (who knows when that will be)
Leaf along with all the chaos boys should have all been signed but cucked to covid
Shanks is a MDL thrower, No one will sign him.

I don’t think any scene is washed or not. There are just a lot of washed or failed players in the na Val scene from cs. Doesn’t make the scene washed. I think if na Val wants to be on top again. The mindsets got to chance.

Mouz isn't Tier-1 CS lmao. They are a roster of rookie academy players and now with a washed-up veteran.
