vitality are not going to suddenly turn into worldbeaters when sayonara joins. look at what happened with lev and neon - he was an insane individual player, put up some big performances and carried them to one win, but their shit system still failed them and they went out very early. it's only one player out of five, and even if he's the second coming of leo, this is not gonna turn a half-decent semi-washed vitality into the best team in their region.

i wouldn't go that far, i think chron is definitely also good and honestly derke has been kind of mid this year so far on the whole, plus the others aren't terrible but my point is something definitely isn't working with this team and one cracked kid is never gonna flip a switch for a team that just isn't set up well
Well yea but it's a clear firepower upgrade and hopefully calling gets better too as jamppi is igling on duel some maps
i think it'll make an improvement but it's a marginal one, i keep seeing people say it's going to make such a difference that their performance in kickoff means nothing but i think its definitely a good barometer for roughly where they'll be this year
Kickoff is prolly the worst parameter to see the whole year it has been noticed over the years
I guarantee 2/4 of all the first seeds won't be at the same level at all by the end of the year

Yes it will make a big difference in performance. Their IGL literally has to play yoru, the roles are weird asf in the team rn. Sayonara joining will fix the role issues and would enable jamppi to focus more on igling
yeah the two teams have different problems but neither set of problems are fully solvable by simply slotting in a cracked 18 year old who has been hyped up to be the chosen one and hoping for the best
