Actually, it has happened before. In the Grand Final of CN Ascension 2023, on Lotus, DRG dropped the map losing 13-0 against Rare Atom, which brought the series score to 2-1 in favor of DRG. Ironically, this would turn out to be the only map they would lose in this series, as they proceeded to win on Bind to close out the series on the very next map.
