I just realized if you lose the first bo5, you have to play another bo5 the day after and possibly a third time
Will a team go 0-3 in bo5? now that would be heartbreaking

I'd say that's better than what the team in middle and lowers have to go through to even get to any of the finals.
Looking at the schedule, I wouldn’t agree, you are playing a lot of games but they aren’t 3 day consecutive so you have time to fix stuff even if it’s just a day
In AMER, for the middle finals, the middle run team has a week off before the middle finals which is a significant advantage. Even in the lowers, 2 bo3 and 1 bo5, on 3 consecutive days, I’d take that over 3 bo5s.
But that's just looking at the small picture and ignoring at what each team has to do to get there. If you were on a team, would you rather be where Furia/MIBR is? or where Loud/EG is?
You have 3 whole chances to qualify, Bo5s at that. Teams at lowers lose once and they're out of the split.
