Why did the devs think announcing generic hero shooter number 26 at the end of the game awards like the holy grail of video games was gonna give them good rep. The game wasn't even out and people already had it in a bad light, bc no one wants another hero shooter in the big 2026. I'd say this game was fucked from the start bc people already hated it from just seeing the trailer in a space that is already so saturated like hero shooters
they succeeded because they had the marvel brand to back them up and a unique style that popped out
apparently the devs didnt even want to have it put in the spotlight of the game awards, Geoff Keighley just chose it to show which just put a lot of negative light onto it
glorified apex game mode and switching between low and medium post processing is -30fps
if bland was a game it would be highguard
