Its just a qualifier for SA region to qualify for challenger playoffs . There is a qualifier for every region to get into challenger playoffs

They will compete in the APAC playoffs. So far, that includes SEA, South Asia, and OCE. It may also include China.
Japan and Korea have their own playoff events, so it's safe to say they will not participate in this event.
