i know for a fact that there are lots of alts lurking on the site, and sometimes they never get banned. ive tried creating alts b4 and they get banned in 1 minute, how are they even detected??

There are a TON of tools website owners have at their disposal to create a digital ID on you, so its hard to say

Given how easy it is to create alts, I would guess that VLR only uses IP and a simple tracking method like cookies
But purely a (hopeful, cause some of that shit is creepy) guess
