VCT EMEA is the only one to not be hosted in a city that borders the Pacific Ocean
Pacific is held in Seoul. Now while Seoul does not have any beaches, Incheon does border the coast, and while it is not logically part of Seoul, the INSPIRE Arena in Incheon was used in Champions Seoul, and everyone considers Incheon Airport to be Seoul’s main airport.
Americas: LA literally borders the Pacific ocean
China: is held in Shanghai (except for 2026) which has a coast on the East China Sea which is part of the Pacific ocean.
EMEA? If you know basic geography, Europe doesn’t border the Paciic, it borders the Atlantic. Hell Berlin doesn’t even have a coast. Closest sea to it is the Baltic Sea. Which is in the Atlantic.
No reason I felt like posting this. except maybe the Pacific Ocean provides a pathway to trophies post franchising, since EMEA hasn’t won one since 2023 with prime fnatic. Or just the ocean is a pathway.
