This is a list of comments that i encounterd irl that i find are completly unnecessary

  • "cut your hair"
context: i am bio-male (<- i did not intent for this to cause arguments, #26 is context on why i wrote it) and chose to grow my hair out, so this comment i find just annoying
    https://www.vlr.gg/597829/stupid-comments/#26 (quick acces to context)
  • "society isnt built around you"
Ik, let me complain about our societal construct, I KNOW society isnt built around me
  • "why am i paired with [my name]"
like, i get it, im socially awkward, yet you complaining that you are paired with me, still hurts

those are all i can think off at the moment

i get comments like those all the time and i just don't listen and just don't care about what others think when it comes to personal choices like how u dress how your hair is and if people don't like being with you most of the time its not a you problem its them

terms like "biological male" & "biological female" are often used against trans men and women as a way to say they arent men/women

most notably when it comes to sport

i mean is it not an important distinction in terms of sport? u cant exactly have somebody who transitioned at 20 and underwent male puberty competing in the female division or it just wouldnt be fair

oh no, i am so different and misunderstood, oh no

Oh no, someone expressing their frustrations, oh no

it could be that im interpreting your comment wrong, if so i apoligize
otherwise:
people letting their frustrations out, even on an online forum can be benifitial for mental health because you can find people that relate, that feel the same way

trans women are shown to be on average weaker than cis women when transitioned

such a stupid term

most of my class doesnt know im non binary, so some of them tell me to fit "the male mould" basically, which i then dont understand because metal heads exist

also i thought it would be better for context

this seems like a very narrowed down experiment that only displays just a few metrics in which trans women athletes are shown to have less success than cis women athletes

it's a start but there's not enough evidence in this at all that trans women athletes are on average weaker than cis women athletes when, at least in mainstream sports, male postpubescent bodies have an adventage with greater muscle mass and higher bone density

its also hard to conduct these studies as ppl are constantly reclassified as transgender or intersex etc
