2025 Radiant International Invitation is divided into two stages: Ranking Stage and Playoffs.

During the Ranking Stage, the 4 teams with the most wins advance to the Playoffs and the first place will directly enter the Grand Final.

If the teams have the same matches wins in the Ranking Stage, the ranking of the teams with the same score will be determined through an extra round of "2V2 Skirmish".

The extra round will adopt a single-elimination format(Just like LPL Regional Finals), and the team ranking will be based on the number of rounds they win in the Ranking Stage. If the number is still the same, the team ranking for the extra round will be determined by drawing.

According to this ranking, the teams at the bottom will challenge upwards in order to determine the teams that advance to the Playoffs and their rankings. In the playoffs, each team needs to send two players for a 2v2 Skirmish, and the team that wins the first 10 rounds wins.

The Playoffs adopts a single-elimination format(Also like LPL Regional Finals), and the winner will face the team ranked first in the Ranking Stage to compete in the Grand Final.

this makes it sound like it the format of the entire playoffs, need better phrasing maybe. Or I'm just dumb.

tldr just to explain it for myself:

6 teams in 1 group, every team plays 4 BO1 matches (meaning one matchup doesn’t happen, eg PRX v G2)
overall winner of groups advances to GF directly

if teams have same WL (eg PRX and G2 are both 3-1) then they play a game of 2v2 skirmish (eg PRX sends jason and jj, G2 sends valyn and trent) and they play 10 rounds. whoever wins gets higher seeding, if they somehow draw 5-5 then random draw to determine higher seed

in playoffs, 3 matches will happen:
4th in groups plays 3rd in groups (QF), bo3, loser gets 4th place
winner QF plays 2nd in groups (SF), bo3, loser gets 3rd place
winner SF plays 1st in groups (GF), bo5, winner 1st, loser 2nd
