he has zywoo on his team of course, and the faze major rain just went off in the playoffs. not saying zywoo auto deserves it (IMO mezii should get it for this major, he was the only reason vit won mirage against spirit and he is the best player on his team in the final), but its pretty easy to see why
dupreeh is a better "chronicle" than ropz if we're going there, but he's still one of my favs
we're downplaying chronicle's own individual abilities too much nowadays. He is definitely one of the best players ever skill wise, closer to ropz than dupreeh

f0rest has no longevity and arguably a worse peak. the game post 2019 is so much harder than it was in 1.6 and in the early days of CSGO. coldzera was the best player for 2 years but that's really all he has. zywoo and s1mple yes, device and ropz convo is pretty close and then donk is a tough convo cuz the kid is by far the best mechanically but he's only played two years. I'd wait a couple years before evaluating donk in the all time convo, but if he retired today he'd be top 10 fs
Donk accomplished more in 2 years than ropz in his entire career, I don’t care how much longevity he has.
f0rest has more longevity than any pro ever, and yes while you can discredit him for playing in a worse era, he’s also a far more accomplished player than ropz
device and ropz comparison isn’t really close, device has 2 major mvps and more major wins than ropz and was consistently a top 5 player for like 7 years in a row
it was 5 but I agree device has had a great run
to be honest, I think they're on pretty identical career paths. only thing devve has over ropz as it stands is a major win and MVPs, but i think the impact both have brought to their teams are undeniable. ropz spent 4 years on a revolving door of players and young talent (mouse) with some success, but he was always consistent. ever since faze and continuing onto vitality, he's only had higher peaks and gotten better as a player. i think he still has a ton to show and if it continues on this path he may just surpass device
hard to tell, he might have more impact than chronicle does to their respective teams but it looks very in ropz' favor right now. he replaced spinx who has always been a consistent and top tier lurker and took vitality from perennial 3rd place to the best team ever in cs
