Glaring problem with GC

Not really a hot take I guess, but aim doesn't seem to be the main problem for most these teams. It's just that they play so... stupid. Or inexperienced?

Like their utility usage is just so awfully bad, wasting ults or flashes for no good reason, the typa shit that would get you booted off tier 1 rosters instantly. I think that's why SRG looks so much better than all of them, despite not having godlescent anymore. They have tons of valuable experience playing with actually good and disciplined teams in vcl, way more structured, way less braindead igl'ing compared to anyone else in gc

gc has a coaching issue

strats and comms have always been the issue, 90% of gc players are mechanical demons even on the bad teams (like me)

yea aim wise GC is not THAT far off.....but game sense wise they are as good as ascendant players ig it's the responsibility of the coach to make them better at game sense and everything

I remember KRU vs TL on Corrode, KRU attack side anti-eco where Micaela swung the deep angle while already scoped with an Outlaw, which just gave away a free kill to TL which turned into a lost anti-eco. I genuinely questioned whether she was diamond/ascendant when I saw that

atp, riot should secretly pay off experienced tier 1 coaches to coach a gc team or a tier1 org's academy team is also their gc team just to give them the experience

It takes more than mechanics alone to go pro. It's about the macro, game sense, util usage and decision making. There's only so many people in the world that tick all those boxes and they're all in VCT and tier 2. There's sadly none in GC, with the exception of Florescent.
