What’s actually the plan with Team Secret? Why keep locking in JesseVash/Kelly+ Sylvan when nothing’s working?
I’m genuinely confused with the direction Team Secret is taking right now.
TS used to be a full PH roster with a clear identity. Fast-paced, explosive, and homegrown. Then suddenly we see a full reset, long-time members gone, coach gone, multiple roster experiments, and now Sylvan (a Korean rookie who literally got cut from GenG right after winning Masters).
But here’s the part that doesn’t make sense:
- They’ve tried 3 different roster combinations already with Sylvan + JesseVash… and they still can’t even win an offseason event.
So why is the “core” that keeps getting locked in every time always Sylvan, JesseVash, and now KELLYS (who was just picked up last year)?
They keep saying they’re “still doing trials,” but the only guaranteed names surviving every shuffle are the same 2–3 players… even when the results aren’t improving.
Like what’s the actual vision here?
Are they building around Sylvan? Is JesseVash untouchable forever? Is this a PR move? A brand gamble? Or is TS just gambling on “maybe this lineup will suddenly click” without a real roadmap?
I don’t get it.
If you bring in a Korean import who just got cut after winning a LAN, you’d expect some big structural change or at least some clear improvement. But right now TS feels like they’re mixing random ingredients hoping one becomes a miracle recipe.
Do they actually want to win, or are they just collecting names?
Would love to hear what other people think because from the outside, the decisions feel… questionable at best
