a champs winning team should be able to beat a tier 2 team even without caring / trying
without caring / trying
It doesn't work like that, you're acting like it's a tier 1/2 team facing a GC team. The difference isn't that big, especially in a BO1
the difference SHOULD be that big, one team won the biggest valorant tournament while the other couldn't even win challengers
surely you're not talking about a game from 1 year ago surely vlr hasn't updated the matches
Key word "should"
Valorant is a very unpredictable game. All it takes is 1 crucial round for the momentum to build up.
Champ's mvp was a literal t2 player this year.
All I'm saying is Cubert has a very decent chance to beat NRG in a BO1
the difference for that is how seriously NRG obviously took champs, the actual difference in skill level between t1 and t2 players mechanically isn't that big, it's the difference in preperation and game plans that seperate t1 from t2 teams, so if NRG don't put much effort in then they might lose
